This is because the Ouija board is supposed to be a means of talking with dead spirits, and spirits that are present in the room. Many people will purchase an Ouija board for themselves so that they can try to communicate with loved ones, when it is often said that messing with an Ouija board is tapping into an evil side that many should not render into.
The statement that buying an Ouija board is like buying a bullet for your own brain is often true. There have been many stories that have laid claim to people that have committed suicide as a result of mental psychosis from playing with an Ouija board. Others will often state that their lives and the elements that are around them become haunted with evil spirits that they can not shake. Some people have gone so far as to say that they have died from the instant shock that many will see when the cursor moves across the Ouija board.
Men and women that have a high spiritual belief will often not play with an Ouija board, as this is seen as the workings of the devil. For others, though, it is a mere means of playing life on the wild side and to see if there is truly anything that exists beyond the realms of our imagination.
